A functional and beautiful object for any room. With its wide footprint and substantial weight, the piece is stable as a side table, a seat, or as a stand for artwork or plants.

Salvaged from an old Ontario barn, this hefty block retains quiet traces of its past. Once rough-cut and weathered, the wood has been cleaned, hand-planed and sanded smooth, revealing honey-brown heartwood and a striking pattern of concentric rings radiating from the centre. Marks from old hand-forged nails and chisel-cut joinery remain visible along its faces.
