A small run of serving boards made from reclaimed pieces of slow grown American elm. Carefully quarter sawn years ago, the wood for these boards was found untouched in a barn in southern Ontario. Exhibiting dense annual rings, they present a memory of the loss of almost all of Ontario and other regions' elder elm trees to Dutch elm disease.
